Recently the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) unveiled its music label, One Hallelujah records and has announced that secular artists are not wanted on the label.
Recall, last year, the record label took its artistes on tour of several music festivals around the globe, notably the RCCG Festival of Life, Dubai, and South Africa, among others.
Now, according to the label’s director, Pastor Lanre Oyegbola, the RCCG set up One Hallelujah Records for those that can actually sing meaningful songs which will bring down the presence of God, hence their decision to sign 10 music ministers on the OHR imprint.
When asked if the label will welcome collaborations between their artistes and secular singers, Oyegbola said,
“That is not likely to happen now. While the label has nothing against secular artistes, OHR is focused on singers of the gospel.”
