Photos: Baby whose penis was chopped off by his step grandfather in Bayelsa, flown to India for reconstructive surgery


Baby Oyintari Michael, whose genital was chopped off by his step grandfather in Bayelsa State was flown to India today, Wednesday August 2, for reconstructive surgery.


The Bayelsa State government through the wife of the governor, Mrs Rachael Dickson took the financial burden of baby Oyintari's healthcare and issued N6m cheque and other traveling documents to his parents to perform the surgery on him.



Oyintari who was 8months old at the time of the incident has been in the protective custody of Mrs Dickson and is now one year and two months old.
