A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted an order sought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to serve the summons, compelling ex-Niger Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo, a.k.a. Tompolo, to appear before the court to face a 40-count charge of fraudulent conversion of several millions of naira, dollars and property belonging to the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, to personal use. *Tompolo The order, which was granted in Charge No: FHC/L/553c/2015, was sequel to a motion ex-parte brought by the EFCC. A worker with a multinational oil and gas corporation, ExxonMobil, who is identified as James, has allegedly r*ped a 14-year-old girl in the Lekki area of Lagos. It was learnt that James, an engineer with the oil company, who was also the landlord of the house where the victim’s guardians live, gave the girl N1,000 to assuage her feelings and stop her from revealing what transpired between them. But their 3-year-old daughter, who witnessed the r*pe, exposed the act... The case was reported at the Langbasa Police Division from where the victim was taken to a medical centre in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area. A crazy 23-year-old guy, Isah Idris who is believed to be taking "stuffs", was said to beaten up his won blood sister mercilessly last week to the extent of stripping he n*ked, for no just cause. He had to be arrested, brother or no brother. A Sharia Court in Sabon Gari, Kano, on Wednesday remanded Isah for allegedly beating and stripping his younger sister, Rukayya. The prosecutor, Cpl Ahmed Magawata told the court that the matter was reported at Zango Police division, Kano by Rukayya, his sister. Cpl. Magawata said that the accused, on January 7, 2016, beat up Rukayya and stripped her for stepping on his shoe while coming out of the bathroom. Just imagine the flimsy excuse!
